Mr. Lewis skippers his 24 ft. sailboat 'Davy'...

Hello! I’m author and artist Paul Owen Lewis. I live on an island in northwest Washington State where we are surrounded by water, and the amazing creatures that live in it. That’s why I am probably best known for two books in particular; Davy’s Dream, and the award winning, Storm Boy. Both of these stories feature a child’s interaction with wild killer whales, in dream, and in myth. I have lots of other books, too.
